Michel L. Wigney
Michel joined Karnopp Petersen’s environmental law practice in September of 2017 – deciding to start her home and her career in Bend. Before relocating, Michel was a student at the University of California, Davis School of Law. During school, she worked with a small firm practicing primarily natural resources review and land use planning, summered with a trade organization helping wineries navigate assorted alcohol laws, and assisted a CA state agency reorganizing and clarifying the CA legislative code, specifically the Fish and Game Code.
Michel’s out of office time is devoted to exploring her new city and state, traveling, crocheting, reading fantasy and adventure novels, and finding the best places to eat.
