08.07.10 - First Annual Race for the River benefitting the Deschutes River Conservancy
Karnopp Petersen has agreed to sponsor the first annual Race for the River event benefitting the Deschutes River Conservancy. Starting at Riverbend Park on Saturday, August 7th, racers will vie for the number one position in several different heats ending in the Les Schwab Amphitheater. Food, beverages, live music and fun will follow at a community wide celebration in the heart of the Old Mill District in the Central Plaza. The Honorable Judge David Brewer, Chief Judge, Oregon Court of Appeals, will deliver opening remarks about Oregon’s judicial system and the role its serves within our state.
