Tamara E. MacLeod
Professional Experience
Tami was born and raised in Reno, Nevada and graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1991. She moved to Oregon to attend law school at Willamette University, College of Law. After law school, Tami moved to Central Oregon and started her legal career at Karnopp Petersen in 1995. She became a partner at Karnopp Petersen in 2003. Tami's practice primarily focuses on land use planning and civil litigation. She has worked in a wide variety of areas, including land use, creditors' rights, unlawful trade practices, and bankruptcy. She regularly represents clients in court through alternative dispute resolution proceedings and before governmental bodies and administrative agencies.

Tami’s professional affiliations include membership and executive officer positions in the J.R. Campbell American Inns of Court and Deschutes County Bar Association.
Tami consistently volunteers her time for community service and leadership, most recently serving on the Board of Directors for Deschutes United Way.
Personal Interests
Favorite pastimes for Tami and her husband Mark are spending time with their daughter and son, playing golf and spending time outdoors.
