Professional Experience

During the first 10 years of his legal career, Mike honed his trial skills as a public defender in Sacramento. He then practiced for 15 years as a senior litigation partner at Weintraub Genshlea & Sproul in Sacramento before moving to Bend. During his last four years in Sacramento, Mike was the managing partner of his 45 lawyer firm.

Mike's practice emphasizes commercial litigation and assisting clients in the resolution of business disputes; with particular experience in real property, corporate, commercial lending and employment law.

Professional & Community Activities

Mike has served as a lecturer and panelist on various aspects of business litigation. In 1992 the National Law Journal recognized Mike for receiving the second most important defense jury verdict in the nation for 1991. In 1998, Mike was elected a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. Between 2000 and 2002 Mike served as Special Counsel to the Oregon Commission on Judicial Fitness and Disability.
