Professional Experience

Christian joined Karnopp Petersen in 2008 and focuses his practice on land use, litigation, and appellate matters.  Before joining the firm, Christian served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Virginia L. Linder of the Oregon Supreme Court.  While in law school, he served as Executive Editor of the Willamette Law Review.  Before choosing law as a profession, Christian worked as an apprentice carpenter and co-owned a small coffee business in Northern Nevada where he was born and raised.

Professional and Community Activities

Christian is a member of the Deschutes County Bar Association, and the Oregon State Bar’s Real Estate & Land Use and Litigation sections.

Personal Interests

Christian moved to Bend for its small town feel and abundant opportunities to hike and snowshoe.  Christian frequently returns to the Lake Tahoe Basin to camp and snowboard with family and friends.
