Lorie Harris Hancock
Professional Experience
Lorie Harris Hancock joined Karnopp Petersen LLP in 2006 after spending a number of years as a sole practitioner. Prior to that, Lorie practiced corporate finance and securities law with Tonkon Torp LLP in Portland, Oregon.
While at Karnopp Petersen, Lorie’s practice has emphasized business transactions, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, trademark prosecution and licensing.
Prior to her career in law, Lorie worked for PacifiCorp, in Portland, Oregon. There she held a variety of positions that focused on marketing, business planning, regulatory filings and administration, research, computer systems design and management.
Professional & Community Activities
Lorie is a member of Oregon Women Lawyers and Cascade Women Lawyers. She serves on the Board of Directors of Economic Development of Central Oregon and the Board of Directors of the Friends of the Metolius. Lorie is also the president of the Camp Sherman Historical Society.
