United Way Honors Karnopp Petersen for Best Overall Support of the 2009-2010 Giving Campaign
Often it is not the profitability that makes a company proud, but the work done to benefit others. Karnopp Petersen, LLP, (KP), is honored to have been recognized by the United Way of Deschutes County for involvement in the 2009-2010 Giving Campaign.
The award recognizes KP’s volunteer and financial support to the United Way. This year, employee participation for the annual campaign increased to 34 employees and KP contributions nearly quadrupled.
Additionally, Tami MacLeod, partner at KP, dedicated the last year as a Volunteer Campaign Chair. Jinnifer Jeresek, attorney at KP, also serves on the Board of Directors (recently elected as 2nd Vice President). Further, KP regularly provides a team for Days of Caring, a county-wide effort matching local businesses with non-profit agencies for a day of community service.
KP is also one of the Cornerstone Partners, allowing 97 cents of every dollar to stay with local agencies and the people who need it most.
