Jinnifer Jeresek Elected Second Vice-President of United Way Board of Directors

Jinnifer Jeresek, a litigation attorney at Karnopp Petersen LLP, was recently elected as the second vice-president of the United Way of Deschutes County Board of Directors. As second vice-president, Jinnifer is positioned to become the President of the Board in 2012.

Jinnifer Jeresek.jpgThe United Way of Deschutes County has been working closely with the region to develop the “Give Five. Add Five. Tell Five.” fundraising campaign throughout 2009-2010. The campaign has recently surpassed $1 million en route to its goal of raising $1.3 million. Those funds will be used to address the most urgent social service needs in the community.

“I am honored to be involved with such an incredible organization and am thrilled to continue serving this organization in a new capacity,” said Jinnifer.

Jinnifer, who joined Karnopp Petersen in 2006, focuses her practice in litigation, mediation and arbitration. Jinnifer also serves as an advisory board member for the Assistance League of Bend. She has a bachelor’s degree in Land Resource Sciences from Montana State University and received her J.D. from Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College with a Certificate in Environmental and Natural Resources Law.
