Erin K. MacDonald
Professional Experience
Erin regularly counsels clients in the areas of estate
planning, probate and trust administration, tax planning,
charitable giving, and assists clients in the formation and
tax-exempt qualification of non-profit entities.
A graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut (B.A. in Psychology, 1998), Erin earned her Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, from the Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College. Erin won the school's Outstanding Oral Advocate Award, was an editor of the law school's law review, Environmental Law.
Professional & Community Activities
Erin actively participates in the local community as a Director
on the St. Charles Foundation Board and serves as a member of
the Foundation’s Planned Giving Committee. Erin is
currently serving as the President of the 2008 Leadership Bend
Class and serves as a member of the Leadership Bend Board
through the Bend Chamber of Commerce. She is a member of the
Deschutes County Bar Association, Oregon State Bar's Estate
Planning and Elder Law Sections, Central Oregon Estate Planning
Council, Oregon Women Lawyers Association, and frequently
donates her time to Oregon Legal Aid's Senior Law Project as a
volunteer attorney.
