Jon J. Napier
Professional Experience
Jon Napier, a native Oregonian, was born in Ashland and raised in Eddyville, Oregon. After law school, Jon practiced for four years with Miller Nash, LLP in Portland, Oregon, where his practice emphasized affordable housing development, construction law, and general business law. Jon joined Karnopp Petersen in 2002.
Jon's current practice emphasizes employment law, real estate transactions, construction law, corporate law, finance, mergers and acquisitions and general business transactions. Jon has significant experience representing companies in negotiating and implementing employee separation agreements, advising companies regarding employee issues, including both hiring and termination issues, negotiating construction contracts, buying and selling businesses and handling complex loan transactions.
Professional & Community Activities
Jon is an active supporter and volunteer for Bend's Community Center, served on the City of Bend's CDBG and Housing Advisory Committee, is a graduate of the Bend Chamber of Commerce Leadership Bend Program and is a member of the Oregon State Bar, and Deschutes County Bar Association.
Personal Interests
Outside of the office, Jon enjoys hiking, fly-fishing, working in the yard, and spending time with his wife, Shelley, and their two children.
