Anne E. Arathoon
Professional Experience
Anne joined Karnopp Petersen in 2006, after graduating from Willamette University College of Law. Prior to attending law school, Anne worked in Human Resources, specializing in employee benefits and recruiting.
While in law school, Anne served as Executive Editor of the Willamette Law Review and was active in Moot Court, representing the law school in a national competition. She was honored with the distinction of membership in The Order of Barristers. Also during law school, Anne clerked at the Oregon Department of Justice, General Counsel Division.
Professional & Community Activities
Anne is a member of the Business Law and Real Estate & Land Use sections of the Oregon State Bar, Oregon Women Lawyers, Cascade Women Lawyers Association, and the Deschutes County Bar Association. She also serves as a member of the board of directors of the Humane Society of Central Oregon.
Anne co-authored the 2008 supplement to, "Unenforceability on Public Policy Grounds", in Advising Oregon Businesses (in publication).
